It is the time of the year for comforting hot beverages. This is a super simple recipe and it is my favorite to drink in my yeti throughout the day or first thing in the morning.
I have been hearing for years the benefits of drinking lemon water in the AM. For me, adding the honey and cayenne pepper, adds a little extra something for the taste buds as well as added benefits and gives a little kick-start to your metabolism in the AM.
Some benefits of drinking honey and lemon include: aiding in digestion, healthier skin, hydration, improves immune system, Vitamin C, detoxifying, boosts metabolism.

Spicy Honey Lemon Water
- 10 oz of Hot Water
- 1 tsp Honey (our favorite)
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- dash of Cayenne Pepper
Pour hot water into mug and add your honey, lemon juice and top with a dash of cayenne.
